Fourteen people were killed and 13 others injured on Thursday in a Russian drone attack targeting a platform at a railway station in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, according to local authorities.
Ukrainian Railways reported that the drone struck the platform as a passenger train was preparing to depart for Zaporizhzhia, while a suburban train was also present.
Officials said four of the injured were in serious condition, including a child.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the area had been targeted by four jet-powered drones, three of which were intercepted by air defenses.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the United States, the European Union and the Group of Seven (G7) to tighten sanctions against Moscow.
Ukrainian authorities accused Russian forces of deliberately targeting civilians.
