Seven Palestinians were killed and 13 others wounded in Israeli strikes targeting several areas of the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

Medical sources said six of the victims were killed in airstrikes that hit Gaza City and Khan Younis, including two police officers killed in a drone strike targeting a police checkpoint in the Al-Amal neighborhood.

A separate drone strike targeted a gathering of Palestinians in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, as a severe sandstorm swept across the territory and damaged tents sheltering displaced residents.
