The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates announced that two security personnel were injured in a drone attack targeting the UAE Consulate General in the Kurdistan Region.

The statement said the attack caused damage to the consulate building, marking the second such incident within a week.

The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attack, calling the targeting of diplomatic missions a flagrant violation of international law and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, and urged Iraq to conduct an urgent investigation and hold those responsible accountable.
