The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced it had foiled a “major terrorist plot” following coordinated security operations that led to the arrest of 11 individuals across several provinces.

Authorities claimed the cell was linked to Lebanon’s Hezbollah, which denied the allegations and described them as “baseless.”
