Bomb threats prompted security alerts and emergency aircraft diversions across several European countries.
In France, an Aer Lingus flight traveling from Dublin to Rome was diverted to Évreux Air Base, where passengers and crew were evacuated safely.
Bulgarian authorities reported three emergency aircraft landings, while two flights received threats in Italy and another aircraft landed in Brussels following a security warning.
Seven previous alerts had been confirmed as hoaxes, with no explosives discovered aboard the affected aircraft.
Security authorities continued investigating the threats and assessing their credibility.
