Russian Overnight Attacks Target Odesa and Dnipro in Ukraine

Ukrainian officials said Monday that Russia launched overnight drone and missile attacks targeting the cities of Odesa and Dnipro in Ukraine.

In the southern port city of Odesa, home to one of the country’s key Black Sea export hubs, local military administration chief Serhiy Lysak said on Telegram that drones struck several residential buildings, as well as a school and a kindergarten.

He added that the attack injured an 11-year-old child and a 59-year-old man.

In a separate incident, Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Oleksandr Hanha reported that three people were wounded in a Russian missile strike on the southeastern city of Dnipro.

Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange aerial and missile attacks as the war between the two countries persist
