Political divisions in Lebanon continue over the ceasefire agreement announced by Washington, as Israeli airstrikes and evacuation warnings targeting towns in southern Lebanon persist.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun described the agreement as a significant breakthrough following complex negotiations, while Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri rejected the proposed framework, calling instead for a comprehensive ceasefire and the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied territories.
Hezbollah also reiterated its opposition to the agreement in its current form, stressing that any settlement must include a complete end to the military offensive.
