Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday that an 11-year-old girl sustained minor injuries, while several vehicles caught fire and homes were damaged in Hamad Town and the capital, Manama, after debris from intercepted and destroyed Iranian drones fell in the area.
In a statement, the ministry said the incident resulted in “minor injuries to an 11-year-old girl, vehicle fires, and damage to homes in Hamad Town and Manama” following the interception and destruction of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles.
The ministry added that civil defense and national ambulance teams responded promptly and carried out the necessary emergency measures. It also released photographs showing firefighters battling blazes at several affected homes.
