Leaders of the Group of Seven reaffirmed their support for Ukraine during their summit in France and discussed additional measures aimed at increasing pressure on Russia.

French President Emmanuel Macron said “real progress” had been achieved in coordinating positions on sanctions and military assistance, including strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.

NATO officials also stressed the importance of enhancing Europe’s defense capabilities in response to growing security challenges.
