Ecuador and Curaçao settled for a 0-0 draw on Sunday at Kansas City Stadium in their second Group E match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ecuador dominated possession and created numerous attacking opportunities throughout the match, relying heavily on sustained pressure and a series of crosses into the penalty area.
However, Curaçao’s defense, backed by an outstanding performance from its goalkeeper, successfully repelled every attempt and preserved a clean sheet.
Following the completion of the second round of matches, Germany remains at the top of Group E with six points, followed by Ivory Coast with three points, while Ecuador and Curaçao are tied in third and fourth place with one point each.
