Saudi Arabia and Cape Verde played out a goalless draw on Saturday in Houston in the final Group H match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, securing Cape Verde’s place in the Round of 32 in the nation’s first-ever World Cup appearance.
Cape Verde finished second in the group with three points and will face Argentina in the next round.
Saudi Arabia ended its campaign in fourth place with two points after draws against Uruguay and Cape Verde and a defeat to Spain.
