Qatar’s Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday that one Qatari citizen was killed and an Arab resident was injured after a maritime vessel was struck by shrapnel resulting from military operations in the region.

The ministry said search and rescue teams located the vessel after it failed to return as scheduled, while investigations into the incident are ongoing.
