Moroccan authorities announced on Monday that they had foiled what they described as “highly dangerous” terrorist plots and arrested 10 suspects in coordinated operations across several cities on suspicion of belonging to a cell linked to ISIS in the African Sahel.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the suspects had received logistical support and direct instructions to carry out attacks targeting sensitive facilities and strategic sites across the Kingdom.
Authorities also seized explosive materials, bladed weapons, and equipment believed to have been intended for use in terrorist attacks.
