The death toll from an earthquake in Bangladesh rose to 10, with dozens more injured, local media reported.
The 5.7-magnitude quake struck the city of Narshingdi, about 40 kilometers east of the capital Dhaka, causing fatalities and multiple injuries, according to the Dhaka Tribune.
Separately, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department reported a 3.3-magnitude tremor in the Baybail area of Savar earlier on Thursday, but no damage or casualties were reported.
