Talks between the United States and Iran are facing growing pressure following an escalation of military tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said recent U.S. strikes constituted a violation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides, warning that all negotiation tracks could be suspended.
Meanwhile, U.S. media reports citing officials said Washington and Tehran had agreed to halt the strikes and hold a meeting later this week, despite indications that the negotiations have stalled due to the latest military escalation.
