France announced a ban on Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir from entering French territory following the handling of activists aboard the “Steadfastness Flotilla” heading to Gaza.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said the decision reflects the “anger” over the treatment of activists whose aid convoy was intercepted and whose members were detained before deportation.

Paris, alongside Italy, also called on the European Union to impose sanctions on Ben-Gvir after he published footage showing detained activists handcuffed and kneeling, sparking widespread international condemnation.
