Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced on Monday that Iran will recover $6 billion in frozen assets held in Qatar under the “Islamabad Understanding” reached with the United States.
He stated that the amount represents half of Iran’s frozen assets and confirmed that efforts are ongoing to recover the remaining funds.
Pezeshkian also described the agreement as a significant achievement that helped ease restrictions on Iran’s oil exports and petrochemical sector.
