The Sudanese “Ta’sees Alliance” government, based in Nyala, announced its approval to establish safe corridors for civilians in the city of El Obeid.

The administration also expressed its readiness to continue coordinating with the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union to ease the humanitarian crisis.

Meanwhile, the Sudanese army announced it had regained control of the strategic areas of Sarkam and Maqjah in Blue Nile State following clashes with the Rapid Support Forces and the SPLM-N.
