Russia’s Defence Ministry announced that its forces downed 345 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours, marking one of the largest drone assaults targeting its positions in months.
The ministry also reported repelling eight ground attacks launched from the Hryshyne axis in the Donetsk region, claiming to have inflicted heavy losses on Ukrainian troops.
Meanwhile, Russian forces carried out what local officials described as a “massive” drone strike on the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest urban centre, killing four people and injuring 12 others.
