Two Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and six others were injured on Saturday after an Israeli strike targeted two tents sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Medical sources said one of the injured later died from her wounds. The strike destroyed the tents and damaged nearby shelters.

The incident comes amid continued reported violations of the ceasefire that has been in effect since October 2025.
