Thailand and Cambodia Sign Trump-Brokered Peace Deal to End Border Clashes

Thailand and Cambodia have signed a ceasefire agreement ending five days of border fighting that left more than 40 people dead.

The deal was signed in Kuala Lumpur in the presence of U.S. President Donald Trump, who mediated the talks.

Both sides hailed the accord as a step toward lasting peace and the restoration of bilateral relations, following U.S. warnings of potential trade sanctions if hostilities continued.
