The UN World Tourism Organization announced that Morocco ranked first among African tourist destinations in 2025 after welcoming around 20 million foreign visitors.
The UN report said the kingdom achieved 14 percent growth compared to 2024, reflecting sustained positive performance in the tourism sector.
It added that Africa received a total of 81 million tourists during the year, while Europe maintained its global lead with 793 million visitors, signaling a recovery in global tourism.
