The governor of Italy’s Sardinia region announced that Cyclone “Harry” has caused massive economic losses that could reach hundreds of millions of euros, after damaging infrastructure, triggering widespread flooding, and forcing the closure of major roads.

Authorities are still assessing the extent of the damage, particularly in ports and coastal areas that suffered severe erosion.
