Air raid sirens sounded across several towns and settlements in northern Israel on Saturday after rockets and drones were launched by Lebanon’s Hezbollah since midnight.

According to Israel’s Home Front Command, sirens were triggered three times due to rocket fire and four times due to drone infiltrations.

Areas affected included Metula, Margaliot, Kiryat Shmona, Tel Hai, Misgav Am, Kfar Giladi, Kfar Yuval, Manara, and the city of Safed.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that Hezbollah carried out coordinated rocket and drone attacks targeting areas in both western and eastern Galilee.

The channel added that the attacks lasted more than two and a half hours, involving heavy rocket fire along with swarms of suicide drones.
