Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced that 13 people were killed and 16 others injured in two Israeli airstrikes targeting the southern towns of Tefahta and Maaroub.

According to reports, the strike on Tefahta resulted in nine deaths and 13 injuries, while the attack on Maaroub left four dead and three wounded.

In addition, Israeli forces carried out a series of heavy airstrikes across southern Lebanon, targeting areas including Nabatieh, Mifdoun, Choukine, Qlayleh, Byout Al-Sayyad in the Tyre district, and Majdalzoun.

The strikes come amid escalating military tensions along the Lebanese-Israeli border.
