South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe have officially submitted a joint bid to host the 2028 Africa Cup of Nations in a landmark move for African football.
Botswana Football Association president Tariq Babitseng stated that the bid was officially submitted under the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA), emphasizing the region’s readiness in terms of infrastructure and transportation networks.
