Interpol has announced the results of a major cybersecurity operation targeting cybercrime across the Middle East and North Africa, resulting in the arrest of 201 suspects and the identification of 382 others.
The operation, code-named “Ramez,” was conducted between October 2025 and February 2026 with the participation of 13 Arab countries and in cooperation with cybersecurity firms Kaspersky and Group-IB.
Authorities also identified approximately 3,867 victims of online fraud and seized nearly 50 servers allegedly used in organized criminal activities.
