The Syrian foreign minister, Asaad al-Shaibani, arrived in Cairo to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty.

The visit comes amid rising tensions linked to the U.S.-Iran conflict and efforts to enhance political coordination between the two countries.
