Morocco booked their place in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating Canada 3-0 in the Round of 16.
Azzedine Ounahi scored twice in the 50th and 82nd minutes before Soufiane Rahimi added a third goal in stoppage time.
Ounahi became only the third African player to score twice in a FIFA World Cup knockout match. His first goal also marked a historic milestone as the 100th goal scored by Arab national teams in FIFA World Cup history, raising the overall Arab tally to 102 goals.
