The international Freedom Flotilla heading to the Gaza Strip reported on Wednesday that nine of its vessels were hit by a series of 12 explosions caused by drone attacks, though no casualties were reported.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the Maghreb branch of the flotilla said: “So far: 12 explosions have targeted nine different ships belonging to the Freedom Flotilla through drones.”
The statement added that the incidents caused no injuries and that “all participants are safe, and our ships continue to advance together steadfastly toward Gaza.”
The flotilla did not specify the timing of the strikes or the party responsible, while Israel — which has repeatedly threatened to block the mission — has so far remained silent.
