Gaza’s Health Ministry announced that four Palestinians were killed and a fifth body recovered over the past 48 hours, raising the death toll since October 2023 to 72,736.

The ministry said daily Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement continue through shelling and gunfire, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries since the agreement took effect in October 2025.

It added that rescue teams are still recovering bodies from beneath the rubble amid widespread destruction affecting most of the enclave’s infrastructure.
