The Israeli army announced that an officer and two soldiers were injured in a drone attack, which it said was launched by Hezbollah toward a military site in southern Lebanon.

The attack comes amid rising tensions along the southern Lebanese border and ongoing exchanges of fire between both sides despite a fragile truce in effect since last April.

Hezbollah did not immediately comment on the operation, while Israeli forces continued airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon over recent hours.
