An Israeli court has rejected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request to shorten the duration of his trial sessions in ongoing corruption cases.
Netanyahu appeared before the Tel Aviv District Court for the 81st time on Tuesday, marking his first session since the outbreak of the war with Iran.
Local media reported that he sought to reduce Wednesday’s session to three hours citing security reasons, but the court denied the request.
Netanyahu faces charges of corruption, bribery, and breach of trust in three cases that could result in prison if he is convicted.
