Jordan Football Association president Prince Ali bin Al Hussein announced that stars Yazan Al-Naimat and Adham Al-Quraishi will miss the 2026 FIFA World Cup due to injury, after failing to recover in time from ACL tears sustained during the Arab Cup in Doha.

Prince Ali expressed confidence in Al-Nashama’s ability to represent Jordan honorably at the tournament.

Jordan is preparing to compete in Group J alongside Argentina, Algeria, and Austria, in the kingdom’s first-ever World Cup appearance.
