A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to its lowest level of his current term, amid growing public dissatisfaction.
The survey found that only 34% of Americans approve of his performance, down from 36% in a previous poll conducted earlier in April.
The decline is attributed to concerns over rising living costs and the ongoing, unpopular war with Iran.
Trump’s approval has dropped significantly since he took office in January 2025, when it stood at 47%.
Most responses were collected before the shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
