As the largest edition in World Cup history approaches, 16 teams have officially secured their places in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in North America.

Six major Latin American football powers, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, and Paraguay, have joined the list of qualifiers.

The list also includes the three host nations: the United States, Canada, Mexico, and six Asian teams, in addition to New Zealand.

With 32 vacant slots remaining, competition is intensifying across all continents to secure a place in this historic event, which will see 48 teams participate for the first time.
