Algeria Goalkeeper Mandrea Suffers Injury Ahead of World Cup 2026

Algerian international goalkeeper Anthony Mandrea has suffered a concerning injury during training with French Ligue 2 side Caen, raising worries for Algeria’s national team less than two months before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to local outlet France Bleu, the 29-year-old sustained a shoulder dislocation following a heavy collision with a teammate during a training session on Monday.

Mandrea was immediately transported by ambulance to the university hospital in Caen, where he underwent medical examinations to assess the severity of the injury and determine his expected recovery time.
