Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country does not seek to expand the war, emphasizing that Iran’s position is based on maintaining peace, stability, and security in the region.
He stated that Iran has not initiated any wars or conflicts and does not intend to attack any country, stressing that it is exercising its legitimate right to self-defense.
Pezeshkian added that the Iranian people have the right to benefit from their resources and rights, arguing that U.S. President Donald Trump has no authority to deny Iran its nuclear rights.
He also accused what he described as the “enemy” of failing to achieve its objectives, and of violating international law by targeting infrastructure and civilian facilities, including schools and hospitals.
He further said that statements about destroying Iran’s civilization and sending it back to the “Stone Age” reflect the intentions of the attacking parties.
