Israeli occupation forces detained a Syrian citizen on Friday during a military incursion into the southern countryside of Quneitra, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The agency stated that an Israeli force consisting of six military vehicles entered the village of Sida al-Hanout and intercepted several shepherds before arresting one of them.

The forces also established a checkpoint near the village of Al-Razaniyah before withdrawing from the area.

The operation is part of a series of repeated incursions and violations carried out by Israeli forces in southern Syria in recent months.
