Fighting continued across several Yemeni fronts on Thursday, with government forces reporting advances in Lahj and Taiz and the repulsion of Houthi attacks.

The army announced 1,298 targeting operations under its “Dawn of Yemen” campaign, claiming approximately 440 Houthi fighters were neutralized and 132 military vehicles, armored units and heavy weapons destroyed or disabled. It did not specify the reporting period.

Meanwhile, World Health Organization figures cited in the report put casualties from the escalation since August 2026 at 9,730, including 1,771 deaths and 7,959 injuries.
