Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused the United States of damaging diplomatic efforts through repeated violations of the ceasefire and what it described as contradictory statements.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said the use of force undermines opportunities for political solutions, stressing that Iran will continue to defend its interests through diplomacy or military means when necessary.

The remarks come as negotiations between Tehran and Washington remain stalled despite a ceasefire that has been in effect since April.
