The Iranian Football Federation announced its intention to file an official complaint with FIFA over what it described as logistical restrictions that affected the national team’s preparations during the 2026 World Cup.

According to the federation, the team delegation was granted access to Los Angeles only 24 hours before its match against Belgium. It also stated that a request to remain in the city for a post-match recovery session following the draw with New Zealand was denied.

The federation argued that these measures undermine competitive fairness among participating teams and affirmed that preparations for the next match would continue despite the circumstances.
