Microsoft has made adjustments to its mapping services to include Palestinian geographical labels in the occupied West Bank following human rights pressure.

The update removed Israeli-associated labels and replaced them with “West Bank” designations.

Rights advocates welcomed the move as an important correction, urging digital companies to adhere to international law and avoid bias in geopolitical disputes.
