Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem stated that any ceasefire agreement cannot include provisions allowing Israel to conduct military operations inside Lebanese territory.

In a televised address, he stressed that a ceasefire must include the cessation of all forms of aggression by land, air, and sea, as well as the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory.

He also urged the Lebanese government to capitalize on the atmosphere of regional understandings to address unresolved issues.
