Philippine authorities continue search and rescue operations following a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Mindanao Island, killing at least 37 people, injuring nearly 500 others, and displacing more than 32,000 residents.
More than 1,200 emergency personnel, supported by international rescue teams, have been deployed to affected areas.
Preliminary assessments indicate that over 3,100 homes were destroyed, while dozens of schools, hospitals, and public facilities sustained significant damage.
