Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo said his decision to represent the Black Stars instead of England was an “easy one,” ahead of a potential clash between the two sides at the 2026 World Cup.
According to ESPN, the Manchester City striker, who also holds French nationality, said he never seriously considered committing his international future to England.
Semenyo added that he has no regrets about choosing Ghana since 2022, reaffirming his full commitment to the national team.
His comments come as anticipation builds around a possible encounter between Ghana and England at the global tournament.
