Sudanese political and civil groups announced that they had reached a shared vision for launching a peace process aimed at ending the conflict and initiating a comprehensive political transition.

The announcement followed a consultative meeting held in Addis Ababa, where participants stressed the urgency of ending hostilities and addressing the humanitarian crisis.

The groups also called for a national project focused on rebuilding the country, advancing transitional justice, fostering reconciliation, and tackling the root causes of conflict and marginalization.
