Delegations from the United States, Ukraine, and several European countries have begun arriving in Geneva for a new round of discussions on the war in Ukraine, in light of the plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
The proposal contains 28 points, including demands for Kyiv to relinquish territory and reduce the size of its army.
The U.S. delegation is led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff, while national security advisers from France, the U.K., and Germany are also participating.
The plan has drawn widespread criticism in European capitals.
