U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced a 10% reduction in flights at 40 major airports due to staffing shortages caused by the ongoing government shutdown.

Former President Donald Trump blamed Democrats for the crisis, saying they had “lost control.”

The cuts affect major hubs including New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, with more than 1,800 flights expected to be canceled over the next week.
