Israeli authorities have issued orders banning Sheikh Raed Salah and Sheikh Kamal Khatib from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for one week, with the possibility of extension.

The two sheikhs described the decision as an attack on freedom of worship and Muslims’ right to access the mosque.

The measures are part of a series of recurring restrictions targeting Palestinian religious figures in Jerusalem.
